We started as students at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University. Today, we teach our own course there, and our team consists of 68 experienced developers. We create software that helps our clients digitize, simplify, and streamline their processes.

Peter Halmo

Peter takes care of responsible project management and good interpersonal relationships within the company. He strives to resolve every situation in a way that satisfies all parties. He values good karma and is the figurative center of the inQool universe.

Tibor Szabó

Tibor is mainly responsible for maintaining good relationships with clients. He is famous not only for his business talent but also for his typical sense of humor, boundless energy, and enthusiasm for all kinds of sports.

Matúš is the support for the entire development team. He is here for anyone who is stuck with code or just needs guidance in the right direction. It seems there is no technical problem that Matúš, as an experienced developer, cannot handle.

Our Story in Time

What have we accomplished so far?

It was 2010 when the idea to start a company was born in the minds of three students. Since then, we’ve come a long way.

August 2023

Our CEO, Tibor Szabó, had an interview on live broadcast on CNN Prima News. The BrnoID portal, which we are behind, is used by nearly half a million people.

We are training our 75th colleague.

April 2022

We continue the trend where each new project is slightly bigger than the previous one. We are developing for the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic.

Our team grows to 68 people.

November 2021

We overcome the COVID crisis unscathed, and our enthusiasm remains strong. Our clients include T-Mobile and the National Bank of Slovakia.

We welcome our 60th colleague.

May 2019

Thanks to consistently high-quality work, we have built a good reputation. We work for ministries, universities, regions, and private companies.

We are 45 people now.

June 2018

We expand our activities to Slovakia, where we start the Slovensko.digital project for better digital services for the state.

inQool consists of 34 people.

March 2017

We successfully complete significant projects for the city of Brno, but at the same time, we experience our first major failures and mistakes.

We hire our 20th employee.

September 2015

We develop our own products – iQ Metropolis for city police and Grantys for easy grant management.

We are growing to 12 people.

February 2013

We realize that we won’t beat Facebook. We land our first small contracts from the public sector.

There are 8 of us now.

May 2010

We register the brand inQool Ltd. in the business register. We are preparing to create a social network to compete with Facebook.

We start with three people.
